Radio Drama Revival

Showcasing the diversity and vitality of modern audio drama

Episode 144: People From Away Get Lost on “The Nephews” and the Vault Keeper Makes an Appearance

October 16, 2009 By Fred

Rocky Coast Radio Theater Horror StoryThis week we welcome the audio mastery of Bill Dufris and his Mind’s Eye Productions back to the show. We’ve heard him previously with his story “The Derelict” and the year before on our Halloween Special with the Lovecraft tale, “The Statement of Randolph Carter.”

Today we have two new tales that are new to the podcast world.  “The Nephews” is a new adaptation of a story by Rick Hautala, telling about a group of sea salts in coastal Maine who get mighty curious about the fate of a man from away who goes to investigate a derelict light house.

In “Hollywood Ending,” we welcome The Vaultkeeper, a sinister and ghoulish narrator for a tale of love that doesn’t go as plan… This is ghoulishly good, listen on!
