Radio Drama Revival

Showcasing the diversity and vitality of modern audio drama

Episode 168 – Searcher and Stallion Trek the Galaxy

April 9, 2010 By Fred

Searcher and Stallion Audio DramaThis week we feature a show that’s been kicking around since 1992, but recently enjoyed a “reboot” to 21st century digital FX and post-production. The series? Searcher and Stallion, a sci-fi epic with roots in Salt Lake City community radio that’s now stretching out to the rest of the world.

We listen to the second-part of the four-part origin story, then talk to series creator Scott Howard about the birth of this story from the realm of electronic music and the evolution of this long-running radio drama.
