On a long lonely stretch of desert, a hitchhiker catches a ride. But as two strangers head to the next town, tales of a loose criminal on the road cast suspicion on their uncertain relationship. And reality is more dangerous that either can imagine…
This week I’m proud to present the work of Doug Bost and Jeff Ward, two upcoming audio stars who tell a tight, gut-wrenching story in style of the classics but with a refreshingly modern take. Enjoy “Roadkill”

Excellent story! Oh my god I swear I will never pick up another hitchhiker ever
LOL… Glad you liked the story! Though I’m bummed if it kills the good will for hitchers (I must admit, I picked one up recently who was telling me all about this stolen car and sleeping underneath a house to avoid the cops, but that’s a whole other story…)

Great use of the medium. Exceptional production on all levels: acting, sound effects, writing and technique.
One question… Why are these folks so hard to find on the web!? No easy google matchups with “Discordia” “Union Signal”, “WBAI” or even “Quicksilver Audio Theatre”
I need me some links!

Rich,
I hear your pain! I bugged Doug and Jeff about the website when I had a chance to speak with them this week, and glory be to us, there’s now a website up!
Check out http://dougbost.com/unionsignal/ to download a huge rank of their excellent work. The work I’m going to feature this week (Dead Man’s Hole) is absolutely superb, and very authentically eerie!
