This week we dig into the archives to re-play the Cape Cod Radio Mystery Theater Classic New England Ghost Story “The Buoy”
A beautiful post of how this production was recorded is available at: http://www.ccrmt.com/the-buoy-2/
This is an utterly unforgettable ‘foggy old Cape Cod’ story of a lone traveler on a cold night who misses the ferry, stumbles into a bed and breakfast and starts to warm up for a taste of… the unknown. A gorgeous atmospheric thriller that gives a nod to tales like “Suspense” while re-inventing them for modern radio drama. Classic.
WOW that story gave me the chills
the first one I hear from Radio Drama Revival and I really really liked it
I now fear the sea more than ever 🙂
Good Job
Ha! Great. Glad you enjoyed it 🙂 This is one of our top ten favorite horror pieces. No blood and guts, but it really gets under your skin.
Great
Where can I get the top 10 list?
Hmmmm that would be in my head 🙂 The goal is to release it as a playlist on SoundCloud (a ‘best of’ from our archives) and have it be easier to find.
